Would you like to learn how to make a mock-up of your book before getting it published?
Come to the Black Diamond Writers’ Network meeting on Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua. The speaker will be entrepreneur and author, Alexander (Lex) Sloot, from Sugarloaf.
Sloot has a degree in printing, marketing and communications, and many years of successful manufacturing, publishing and business experience.
He is the author of two books focusing on motivation, philosophy, and Life Skills, “The Tools to XEL (EXCEL)” and “Viability - The Essence of Existense.” He is currently writing his first fiction work, a crime thriller.
BDWN is a writer’s group, founded in 2006, to help writers and those affiliated in the area of writing. Meetings are open to the public.
