State police at Stroudsburg reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 6:18 p.m. on Tuesday along Turkey Hill Road in Hamilton Township, Monroe County.
Troopers said Ammaarah Hassan, 18, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2012 Toyota Prius southbound and going too fast for conditions when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left curve.
The vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck an embankment, then rolled over about seven times.
Hassan sustained injuries to her hand and head and was transported to a hospital.
The vehicle had to be towed.
She was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
