The Tamaqua Area School District kicked off its 2021-22 school year on Wednesday. On Thursday, West Penn Elementary kindergarten students boarded the school bus after their morning session of class. “We are excited about the possibilities for this school year,” said Ray Kinder, superintendent. “As a faculty and staff, we are committed to expressing positive energy each day and bringing out the best in our students.” JUSTIN CARLUCCI/TIMES NEWS
