Local Roundup: Results from Aug. 25

The Palmerton and Northwestern golf teams both picked up victories on Wednesday.

GOLF

Lehighton-Palmerton

Tyler Hager and Josh Suto both shot scores under par to spark Palmerton to a 386-452 non-league victory over Lehighton.

Hager shot a two-under-par with a 70 to grab medalist honors for the Bombers, while Suto was one-under-par with a 71. Teammates Connor Reinhard and Dominic Kintz both shot in the high 70’s, as both finished with a 79.

Aaron Miller paced the Indians with a team-best with an 82.

Palmerton remains undefeated at 5-0, while Lehighton drops to 2-1 on the season.

Northwestern evens out its record at 2-2 overall, while Wilson falls to 0-2 on the season.
