The Carbon County Salary Board approved the following actions during Thursday’s meeting.

• Juvenile Court: Establish the position of one chief juvenile probation officer trainee at $31.10 per hour, effective Aug. 19.

• Children and Youth: Establish the position of one part-time county caseworker I at $17.25 per hour, effective Aug. 19. The position is excluded from the retirement plan.

• Corrections: Change the rates of one part-time corrections officer from $12.68 per hour to $11.95 per hour and one part-time corrections officer from $12.31 per hour to $11.95 per hour, both effective Aug. 19.

• Pocono Counties Workforce Development Agency: Establish the position of one administrator trainee at $21.85 per hour, effective Aug. 19.
