Hedash scatters five hits and loses his shutout bid when the Tams push across a run in the sixth inning. The winning hurler also collects his team’s only hit, a two-run single in the fifth frame that plates both Joe Bubon and John King. Tamaqua’s Tom Gill suffers the hard-luck loss, allowing just the one hit while fanning 12. Rick Jones finishes with two hits in the losing effort.
