State police at Frackville are investigating a vehicle theft incident.

Troopers said on Aug. 8 at 12:56 p.m. troopers responded to Connerton Road in Butler Township, for a stolen vehicle report. On scene it was determined a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by the Reading Anthracite, Pottsville, was stolen from the location. The vehicle was driven westbound toward Shenandoah.

The investigation is continuing.
