A tasting event to benefit the Carbon County Friends of Animals will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Radical Wine Company, 511 Mahoning Drive E., Lehighton. Radical Wine will donate $1 to CCFOA for every beverage purchased, including wine, beer, slushies and mixed drinks.

Bring any of the following items to be entered to win a door prize: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies (bleach, etc.), Lysol spray, paper towels, and canned cat food

Carbon County Friends of Animals is a nonprofit organization. All proceeds support the care of animals in need in Carbon County.

Music Supplied by DJ Star Tracks. Raffles and food for purchase.

Dinner tickets

Carbon County Friends of Animals is hosting a drive-thru chicken/beef dinner fundraiser on Nov. 21. Advance tickets only, meal provided by A&C Catering. Pickup time is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the shelter, 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe.
