Northern Lehigh has announced the hiring of head boys soccer coach John Murray.

Murray grew up in Monmouth, New Jersey, playing, coaching and officiating soccer games at the club and high school level.

After high school, he attended college in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he continued to play and referee soccer games.

After retiring as an attorney in Florida and moving to the area 10 years ago, Murray took up the role as coach of his son’s club team at Parkland Area Soccer Club.

Within a few years, the PASC Raiders became a top tier team in the Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association.
