Alyssa Jordan of Lehighton, daughter of Jeffrey and Lynn Jordan, graduated magna cum laude from The University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering on May 3 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in bioengineering and computer engineering.

She was on both the term honor list and the dean’s honor list. Alyssa was inducted into the University of Pittsburgh IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu. She was a member of the Women in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering Society and Electrical and Electronics Engineers Clubs. While obtaining her degrees, she completed two internships at Speech Interface Design and Highmark Health with their engineering teams.

Alyssa will be residing in Pittsburgh and is working as a computer engineer at Highmark Health as a part of their Enterprise Technology Development Program.
