Kim Schroeder, an elementary art teacher from Barnesville, took first place in the logo contest at the Schuylkill County Fair. The contest picks the design to represent the fair each year and the winning design is printed on T-shirts which are then offered for sale at the fair.

Schroeder, who teaches in the Pine Grove School District, titled her entry “Best of Show.” The artwork includes a cow, pig and sheep around a display of vegetables. The design also incorporated the 4-H and FFA initials.

The contest was sponsored by the Summit Arts Fellowship whose president, Bob Marshall, presented prizes to the winners.
