Kusko gives his team, coached by Mickey Hodor and Jack Esrang, an early advantange with his long ball in the first inning. Walt Ligenza also finishes with three hits in the contest, while Eddie Kocha, Billy Gmitter and Tommy Mimm all contribute a pair of hits. Eddie Kostishion goes the distance on the mound to earn the pitching win.
