The First Presbyterian Church of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill, installed the Rev. Frederick W. Rogers, as ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, as its new pastor on Sunday.

The Rev. Dr. Steven H. Shusset, Teaching Presbyter of the Lehigh Presbytery, was the installing officer while the sermon was given by the Rev. Walter Breiner, pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weatherly.

The service installed pastors from several different denominations, including Lutheran, UCC, Roman Catholic and Presbyterian.

Phyllis Morgan, clerk of session, Charles Reaman and Marissa Yeager, elders of the church, assisted during the installation service.
