The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Discover Bank, Philadelphia, filed an action against Hammeed Ullah, 183 N. 11th St, Lehighton, seeking $8,831.68.

Citibank, Fort Washington, filed two actions against Richard Bower, 5 E. Water St., Lansford, seeking $3,004.21 and $6,153.

Midland Credit Management, Eatontown, New Jersey, filed the following actions: Irene A. Ellis, 129 Bankway, Lehighton, seeking $1,425.02; Helen Tamburello, 91 Mansi Drive, Albrightsville, seeking $2,673.29; and Joann H. George, 110 Douglas Lane, Kunkletown, seeking $1,640.35.
