The Tamaqua school board approved the following coaching hires at Tuesday’s board meeting:

• Jillian Barron, head softball coach

• James McCabe, head track and field coach

• Melissa Hess, head cheerleading coach

• Amber Kistler, assistant cheerleading coach

• Emma Hinkle, volunteer cheerleading coach

• Courtney Loar, volunteer cheerleading coach

• Anthony Agosti, assistant varsity boys basketball coach
