Berlinsville recovered from an early deficit to gain a Blue Mountain League win over Northampton on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Jim Thorpe downed Tamaqua Blue in the Panther Valley Little League tournament.

Northampton-Berlinsville
Northwestern graduate Jake Augustus had two hits, scored two runs and swiped a pair of bases to help the Berlinsville Braves gain a 9-3 victory over Northampton.
Conor Howland delivered three hits and an RBI for the winners, who broke a 3-3 tie with a four-run fourth inning. Alec Bove doubled and knocked in two runs, while Colin Houck added a hit and two runs scored.
Winning pitcher Matt Mellinger also finished with two RBIs.
For Northampton, Northwestern graduates Rafe Perich and Nick Henry each collected a hit and an RBI. Fellow Tiger alum Nate Kester chipped in with a double.

Tamaqua-Blue-Jim Thorpe
Jim Thorpe scored nine runs in the fourth inning to pull away for a 12-2 victory over Tamaqua Blue in the Panther Valley 8-10 Little League tournament.
K. Levan had two hits, scored two runs and knocked in a pair for the winners, who benefitted from 12 walks in the contest. D. Calcano added a hit, run and two RBIs, while B. McElmoyle scored twice.
C. Grant gained the victory on the mound, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out six in 3 1/3 innings.
For Tamaqua Blue, Troy Hartman had a triple and an RBI. Ryder Holmberg and Jaedon Vidzicki both finished with a hit and a run scored.
