“Christmas in July” will be celebrated in Tamaqua July 16-18 thanks to activities planned by the Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas Committee.
The Tamaqua Historical Society will hold an Open House on July 16 from 5-8 p.m. and July 17 from 9 a.m. to noon, which will feature a special vintage Christmas exhibit.
On July 17, Victorian Carolers will roam downtown Tamaqua between 3-7 p.m. Santa will be at the Gazebo in Depot Square Park in his “summer suit” from 4-7 p.m. He will also be at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center on July 18 from 1-4 p.m. for photo opportunities.
There will be children’s events July 17 from 4-7 p.m. on South Railroad Street by Tink’s Antiques, including games, rides, crafts and food. There will be a minimal fee for some activities. Children’s events will continue on July 18 from 1-4 p.m.
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will host a Christmas in July service on July 17 at 5:30 p.m.
