Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin is lifting the judicial emergency instituted earlier in the pandemic effective Tuesday.

In an administrative order issued Friday, Baldwin says “court operations shall return to pre-pandemic status. “

The following exceptions are noted:

Provisions in a specified section of the criminal code restricting the use of advanced communication technology shall remain suspended until Aug. 31 except for trials, along with one regarding speedy trial.
