Palmerton posted a win in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action Friday night, while the Tamaqua Blue squad won in the District 18 8-10-year-old Little League Tournament.

Palmerton cruised to an 11-1 win over Easton Lehigh Valley Connie Mack play.
Owen Serfass was 2-for-5 at the dish for Palmerton with a triple, four RBIs and a run scored. Daniel Lucykanish (two walks) had a hit and also knocked in two runs in the win.
Starter Luke Netznik pitched into the fifth inning, allowing only two hits and a pair of walks while striking out eight. Tray Sterling was strong in relief, surrendering just one hit and one run, striking out three.

Tamaqua Blue posted a 12-2 win over Anthracite in the District 18 8-10-year-old Little League Tournament.
Mason Evans was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI for Tamaqua. Troy Hartman was 2-for-2 with a run scored; Jaedon Vidzicki tripled, knocked in two runs and scored twice; and Gavin Shannon had two RBIs and scored a pair of runs
On the mound, Bryce Eltringham allowed just three hits with one walk in four innings, striking out five.
Schirer, Demyanovich and Gall had hits for Anthracite.
