Members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown, who attended a special congregational meeting yesterday, voted to approve an extensive addition and renovation program presented by the building committee and architect Daniel J.W. Prospero.
Ballots cast were 73 affirmative, 26 negative and two blank ones. The issue was to “authorize church council to proceed with the proposed building plans estimated to cost close to $100,000 but not over, arrange a loan and hire a counselor to supervise a fundraising campaign.
The plans include joining the church proper with Trinity Hall and using the joining part as the main entranceway to both sections.
