The families of the bride and groom announce the engagement of Nora Jean McLaughlin and Robert Knipper, both of Coaldale.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Loretta McLaughlin of Andreas. She is a graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College and is currently employed as a registered nurse at Bayada Home Health Care in Coaldale.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Randee Knipper and the late John “Jack” Knipper of Coaldale. He is a graduate of Misericordia University and is currently the shift lead at Fimble ADS in McAdoo.

The couple is planning a Sept. 12, 2021, wedding.
