A biker was seriously injured in a crash Saturday in Lehighton. The crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. in front of 188 S. First St. involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck with a possible Class 5 patient.

The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center.

The Lehighton fire department responded to the scene with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway.

Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
