Several people were injured this afternoon in a crash in Rush Township. The accident occurred around 3 p.m. along Route 309 at the entrance to Turkey Hill. The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center. Route 309 was shutdown by Hometown fire police.
