State police at Schuylkill Haven
State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers:
• On May 23 at 7:39 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Pleasant Valley Road in West Brunswick Township, for a domestic incident. Adam Mattera, 36, and April Parsons, 32, both of Orwigsburg, were cited for simple assault and harassment.
• On May 28 at 1:20 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic along Route 61 at Municipal Road in West Brunswick Township. A passenger in the vehicle, Benjamin Mathis, 41, of Pottsville, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Charges were filed.
• Stephen Kubeika, 33, of Saint Clair, has been arrested for harassment by communication. Troopers said he sent text messages and pictures of lewd and obscene images of himself to a 40-year-old woman from Auburn.
• On May 28 at 10:01 p.m. troopers stopped a 2008 Cadillac along Route 61 at Dogwood Drive, in North Manheim Township. The driver, Frankie Martinez, 42, of Philadelphia, was found to be impaired and arrested.
• Tammy Keefer, 53, of Summer Hill Road in Wayne Township, Schuylkill Haven, was cited for a dog law violation. Troopers said she failed to contain her dog within a fence and it entered onto a neighbors’ property.
• Nathan Fisher, 34, of Minersville, has been charged with violating a protection from abuse order. Troopers said he made contact with a 62-year-old woman from Pottsville, in violation of a PFA order the victim has against him. The incident occurred on May 21 at 10:40 p.m.
• On June 2 at 12:41 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop along Route 61 at Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township. The driver, a 17-year-old man from Bronx, New York, was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. A petition will be filed with the county juvenile probation office for possession of a prohibited offensive weapon.
• Troopers said a 25-year-old Auburn woman received fraudulent checks. She then placed the checks in her bank account via her mobile app. The victim then purchased three Coinme vouchers for Bitcoin Krypto currency and forwarded the vouchers. The Bitcoin value was $3,180.
