Tanner McHugh of New Ringgold, a graduate of Tamaqua Area Senior High School, graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing.

Baldwin Wallace University recognized the achievements of approximately 680 graduate and undergraduate students at BW’s 171st commencement ceremonies in May.

McHugh was also named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester, according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl.

Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the dean’s list.
