                Franklin Township picked up a victory in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action Thursday.

                Franklin Township
                Franklin Township surged ahead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning en route to a 7-5 win over Freemansburg in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack play.
                Brady O’Donnell was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored for Franklin. Aiden Rarick added two hits and scored a run.
                Adam Bastone and Ian Rarick both had a hit, RBI and scored a run in the win, while Michael Yeakel (1-for-1) scored three runs and walked three times.
                On the mound, Cameron Gable pitched five innings of three-hit ball in relief to earn the win, striking out seven and walking three while allowing just one unearned run.

                Two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted Northampton to an 8-7 win over the Birches in Norco Legion action.
                Joe Kerbacher and Mike Melosky each had two hits and scored two runs for Northampton.
                Ryan Kymer went 3-for-4 with a double, and Jake Gethen scored two runs for the Birches (2-3-1).
