The Carbon County Savages rolled to a 52-6 victory over the Monroe County Diamondbacks Saturday to improve their record to 5-2.

Quarterback Brock Mitchell completed 17 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers.

Carbon County’s Hunter Goldsborough dominated the Breast Cancer Awareness game, with a TD catch, six tackles, a fumble recovery, and 293 yards in kickoff returns.

The Savages will play the Wilkes Barre Warriors this Saturday at 1 p.m. in the first round of the Great Eastern Football Association playoffs.
