State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a reported theft incident at a Monroe County location.

Troopers said a member of the Pleasant Valley organization located in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, reported that she believes a suspect took more than $8,000 when she was working for the nonprofit organization.

Troopers did not release any other details and said the investigation is continuing.
