The Lehighton Area Elementary Center recently recognized all fifth-grade students during its moving-up ceremony. Parker Miller earned the Sen. John T. Yudichak Good Citizenship Award, which is given to one student who demonstrates the qualities that make a good citizen. They include scholarship, character, service, leadership; and acceptance of responsibility in academics, extracurricular activities and family.
