Blue Ridge Cable crews work Tuesday afternoon to restore fibers for internet connections. The restoration was needed because of a crash that happened early Tuesday morning along Route 443 at the intersection with Semmels Hill Road. A woman in an SUV suffered head injuries. The victims were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident, but had no report as of Wednesday morning.
