The Tamaqua Area High School moved its high school graduation to Tuesday, June 1 at 7 p.m.

The weekend forecast does not look promising, as the decision to move the ceremony was made Thursday afternoon.

The graduating list of roughly 150 seniors are set to enjoy an outdoor commencement service at the Tamaqua Stadium in front of friends and family.

Superintendent Ray Kinder said masks are required when walking to a seat or moving around the stadium.
