Nesquehoning police want the public to know that tips are not needed for a death that was reported in the borough over the weekend.

Police responded to a call on Saturday afternoon at a home on the 100 block of East Railroad Street for a deceased white male.

Chief Sean Smith said that his department has been getting calls regarding the incident ever since, and noted that rumors have been circulating around the death.

He said the death has been ruled a suicide.
