The congregation of Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton, tendered a farewell dinner for Dr. David W. Grant in Fellowship Hall of the church on Sunday, honoring the departing pastor, wife Barbara and their children, David and Susan.

Dr. Grant will conclude his pastorate on June 3, 1979, to become the resident chaplain at the Packer Memorial Hospital in Sayre. He has served Zion for the past two years.

During a program in his honor, Carl Hochberg, president of the consistory, presented Dr. Grant a monetary gift from the congregation. Mrs. Florence Kugler, a member of the consistory and a teacher in the adult school, offered the opening and closing prayers.
