Dear Editor:

The majority members of the Lehighton Area School Board continue to show a complete disregard for the taxpayers.

They provide little or no oversight of the superintendent who entered into a very questionable curriculum contract, costing taxpayers millions without board approval, and this same majority again plans to raise property taxes due to their less than thrifty spending practices.

As such, I wish to rise in strong support of Beers, Bowes, Sittler and Zlomsowitch. Hopefully, a new board majority will make rational decisions and hold the administration accountable!
