Lehighton police are investigating a crash which occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Mahoning and Ninth streets. The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. as emergency personnel were responding to a motorcycle crash just a half mile away along Mahoning Drive east. The injured were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
