Members of the Lehighton Lions Club met at Trainer’s Inn, Lehighton, to lay out their list of officers for the fiscal year that will begin July 1.

Nominating committee Chairman John DeMatte announced the committee’s selection of officers. It included: Arthur Sheckler, president; Frank Bayer, first vice president; DeMatte, second vice president; Vince Gilotti, third vice president; John Wehr, secretary; Loren Bisbing, treasurer; Dave Ramsey, tail twister; and Stanley Koch, Lion tamer.

Andrew Ovsak and Charles Finney were nominated for two-year terms as directors and Walter Noll, Robert Berger and Morris Steigerwalt were selected to serve one-year terms.
