Angel A. Delapaz, 59, of Albrightsville, suffered minor injuries when he encountered a dog while riding his motorcycle. April 17 on the Piutte Trail in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said he was transported by the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, after the incident.

Police said he was southbound on the trail in the areas of Crazy Horse Trail and the Jonas Road when a dog escaped from its residence and entered the path of Depaz’s 2008 Harley-Davidson. Police said the driver fell off the cycle, which fell on top of him.
