Lansford Alive will host its annual spring cleanup at 9 a.m. Saturday throughout town.

Volunteers will meet in Kennedy Park to pick up supplies and clean a designated area. Gloves, bags and vests are being provided from the Lehighton office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, in conjunction with Pick Up Pennsylvania.

People who have school project hours or community service hours to complete can assist with the cleanup. Lansford Alive has been involved with spring and fall cleanups throughout the borough for over 15 years. All cleanup events were canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rain date is April 24 at 9 a.m.
