Area state police reported on driving under the influence cases:
• A Carbon County driver is facing charges following a crash that occurred on April 3.
State police at Lehighton said troopers were dispatched at 11:14 p.m. to a crash along Held Street in Franklin Township. The driver lost control of her 2015 Volkswagen Jetta that crashed into two parked vehicles, 2017 Infiniti QX50 and a 2018 Ford Expedition. No injuries were reported.
The driver, a 21-year-old woman from Lehighton, who troopers declined to identify, was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges are pending toxicology results, troopers said.
• On April 9 at 12:43 a.m. state police from the Lehighton barracks made a traffic stop of a 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback for several traffic violations along Hazlewood Road at Briar Street in Franklin Township. The driver, Benjamin Williams, 35, of Bowmanstown, was found to be under the influence of and in possession of controlled substances. It was also learned that Williams had an active warrant for his arrest.
• Troopers said on March 22 at 6:42 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a crash along Cherry Hill Road at Centre Street in Parryville. The driver, Richard Fedor, 72, of Palmerton, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and taken custody. He sustained minor injuries in the crash, troopers noted.
• A Slatington driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a crash.
State police at Fogelsville said Stephany Garcia, 28, was involved in a crash on March 28 at 4:36 a.m. along Kings Highway in Lynn Township, Lehigh County. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest for DUI.
