Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak identified the Union Township man who died in a crash in Shenandoah Monday.

Anthony Campanicki, 59, was pronounced dead on scene at 12:20 p.m. Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David G. Moylan III said the cause of death was “blunt force trauma to the head and chest.” He ruled the death accidental. A virtual autopsy was done at Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, New Philadelphia.

A supervisor with the Schuylkill County Communications Center said the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Yatesville Road and E. Centre St. at 11:32 a.m.

A call to the Shenandoah Police Department Monday went to voicemail.
