John Shickram was installed as exalted ruler of the Tamaqua Elks Lodge No. 592 during a dinner held Saturday night in the lodge hall.

Other officers for the ensuing year are Dennis Krell, esteemed leading knight; August Cienki, esteemed loyal knight; Thomas Weston, esteemed lecturing knight; Theodore Lewis, esquire; Robert Eva, chaplain; John Rhubright, inner guard; Bruce Krell, tiler; Haydn Evans, secretary; Henry Seip, treasurer; and Charles Schlosser and Weston, trustees.

George B. Dunstan, past district grand exalter ruler, and past exalter rulers of the lodge, were the installing officers. Weston is the immediate past exalter ruler of the lodge.
