Cera Gaston recently opened her 2021 track season with an impressive performance for Messiah University.

The Lehighton graduate won the 10,000m in 38:27.21 during the Falcons’ season opener on March 19.

Gaston’s time is the best in the nation in Division III.

The senior’s winning effort also placed seventh all-time in Messiah history for the women’s 10,000m run.

Messiah will be back in action on Apr. 1 at the York College of Pennsylvania. Following that event, the Falcons will return to Grantham for the Messiah Multi and Invitational.
