The National Weather Service is predicting up an inch of rain today. The next nice spring day appears to be Saturday.

Today: Showers, mainly after 10 a.m. Areas of fog before 9 a.m. High near 54. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight: A chance of showers, mainly before 11 p.m. Areas of fog before 3 a.m., then areas of fog after 5 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 48. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Thursday: Areas of fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 a.m. Low around 57. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. High near 73. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
