It was the perfect weather Sunday at the Mahoning Valley Speedway Truck Meet, the first of what may be many more truck shows. Over 400 trucks of all kinds were on display around the track and throughout the infield area. In addition to the trucks, the free event offered food, vendors and music for the truck owners and spectators.

The event was organized by Richard Munn, Toms River, New Jersey, and co-hosted by Mark Wickline of Atlantic City, and Atlantic City Truck Meet.

Munn said, “I did a parking lot meet at Cabela’s, and I posted it on TikTok, and it went viral. Everybody was asking for another event.”

He found out about Mahoning Valley Speedway on social media, and with Wickline’s help, set up this event.

“I promoted it as much as I could, everyone was promoting it, and I got some help from the Atlantic City Truck Meet,” Munn said.

The team plans to host another event at Mahoning Valley Speedway in another month or two. Learn more at AtlanticCityTruckMeet.org. The Atlantic City Truck Meet will be held July 17 and 18 at Bader Field in Atlantic City.
