Benjamin Serfass, son of Jenny and Steven Serfass of Palmerton, and Matthew Binder, son of Kevin and Elise Binder of Towamensing Township, were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Penn State University’s Main Campus.

Serfass is a sophomore in the College of Communications, majoring in advertising, and Binder is a sophomore in the College of Science, majoring in chemistry. Both are 2019 graduates of Palmerton Area High School.

The dean’s list honors those students who achieve a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher for enrollment in a course load of at least 12 credits.
