Tuesday was the final date in which people seeking elective offices could file nominating petitions to get their names on the respective ballots.

The list of candidates who filed petitions for local offices in Schuylkill County includes:

Tamaqua Area School Board

Four seats each, four-year terms: Nicholas E. Boyle, Nancy J. Jones, Mark D. Rother and Bryan W. Miller.

All candidates have cross-filed on both Democrat and Republican tickets.

Tamaqua mayor

Nathan J. Gerace, Republican

Tamaqua council

Three seats each, four-year terms: Joel Salla, David E. Mace, Mary Linkevich, Kathy Kunkel and Richie Linkhorst

One seat for two-year term: Jay A. Hollenbach Jr. and Kathy Kunkel

All candidates are listed as Republican.

West Penn Two

One seat for supervisor, 6-year term: Tony Prudenti, Republican

Rush Two

One seat for supervisor, 6-year term: Robert Leibensperger and Frederick J. Lahovski Jr. Both candidates are registered as Republicans.

Schuylkill Two

One seat for supervisor, 6-year term: Gary T. Feathers and Frank Fabrizio. Both candidates are registered Republican.

Walker Township

No one is running for the one supervisor seat for a 6-year term.
