Chris Ferry scores eight of his 13 points in the opening quarter as the Blue Raiders, coached by Jim Woodring, jump out to a 24-9 advantage. The Golden Hawks eventually narrow the gap to three points, but Tamaqua converts 10-of-15 free throws in the final period to secure the victory. Joe Ligenza finishes with 20 points and nine rebounds to lead the Raiders, while Tom Ferry adds 18 tallies. Brad Novey also contributes 15 points, with Ben Augustine pulling down 11 boards.
