One person is dead as the result of a fatal pedestrian accident in Monroe County.

The incident occurred just after noon along Paradise Valley road near the Henryville Post Office, just east of Route 715 in the village of Henryville, Paradise Township. The roadway is closed. State police are investigating the incident.
