Marian High School’s Robert Sunder has announced plans to continue his academic and football careers at NCAA Division 3 Muhlenberg College.
Sunder was a two-way lineman for the Colts and also served as the team’s long snapper on special teams.
He was a four-year varsity starter. This past season he was named to all-star teams by Schuykill County Coaches Association, Times News Media Group, the Hazleton Standard Speaker and the Pottsville Republican
In addition to football, Sunder participated in basketball as a freshman, and track and field during his junior and senior years. He was also a member of the school’s SADD Club and Ballroom Dancing Club.
The son of George and Amy Sunder, Robert plans to major in history education at Muhlenberg.
