Barry Isett and Associates names new appointments
Barry Isett and Associates Inc., an engineering firm with a location in the Poconos and seven other offices in Eastern and Central Pennsylvania, has added six new employees to its corporate administration and code inspection and plan review departments, as well as its mechanical, electric and plumbing group. In addition, three promotions were issued within the firm’s civil and code departments.
In the Pocono region, John DeCusatis, of Stroudsburg, has been promoted to municipal code services manager. Since joining Isett five years ago, DeCusatis has been instrumental in developing the company’s client base in the Pocono region. His new position will enable him to better manage client relations and increase business development. While performing these duties, he will continue his responsibilities as a property maintenance and zoning inspector.
New to the company, Anthony Disante, of Wind Gap, joined the code department as a property maintenance and zoning inspector and is based in Isett’s Pocono region. With experience in project management and customer interactions, Disante previously worked as a field energy consultant for Tesla, focusing on residential sales and managing projects. He holds an associate degree in marketing and business management through McCann School of Business. At Isett, he focuses on fulfilling zoning officer hours and assisting local residents.
In the Hazleton area, Tim Dow, of Mountain Top, was promoted to acting operations manager of the code department in the Hazleton region. His responsibilities have included zoning and code enforcement, issuing permits, and conducting inspections. He will continue to perform these duties as he oversees code operations and drives business development in his region.
Hung Nguyen, of Berwick, joined the code department as a code specialist based in the Hazleton office. He has more than five years of experience in internal quality control and plan reviews for Code Compliance Services Inc. Nguyen is a former member of the U.S. Navy and holds an associate degree.
The other new employees include: Dayna Edelman, of Whitehall, talent manager; Mark Highley, of Zieglerville, code specialist, Delaware Valley region; Jacob Potter, of Catawissa, staff professional, Berks County region; and D. Tyler Rowe, of Thorndale, IT manager. Chris Williams, of Mertztown, has been promoted to operations manager of the civil department in the Lehigh Valley.
